Block Therapy Workshops

Alt Text

On stand E13, NW Autism & SEND Consultancy will be running interactive Block Therapy Workshops, demonstrating some of the principles of Block Therapy and how this intervention can develop social communication skills in autistic young people in a school or home setting.

These sessions will last between 20 – 25 minutes and will give you a glimpse of how Block Therapy can work in practice.

There will be a short form for you to fill out on the day of your visit, which will provide NW Autism & SEND with the information they need to assign the most appropriate task for you to do in the workshop.

Emma Griffiths, Bsc Med in Autism, will be delivering the workshops. Emma is a specialist teacher who works for Slough Council as an autism consultant and also works independently delivering Block Therapy internationally. Emma has worked for nearly 20 years as a teacher in both mainstream and specialist education.

Block Therapy Kits will be available for you to purchase after the workshops at a special show discount.
